The company released a version of Symantec products Norton Internet Security 2011 and Norton AntiVirus 2011. Compared with previous versions, the products line in 2011 are more rapid installation and higher speed scanning with minimal impact on PC performance.
The new versions of Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus are implemented technologies such as System Insight 2.0 and Download Insight 2.0. System Insight 2.0 monitors the activity of the application and notify the user if any of them consume too many system resources. In turn, Download Insight 2.0 is responsible for scanning incoming Internet traffic, e mails, files transferred via instant messaging, the presence of malicious hide.
